October 2018 marked Helen’s Journey Blogs 1st year of blogging anniversary! YAY!

Then in November, I got the great news that I have been nominated for two ‘UK BLOG AWARDS 2019’ in the categories of ‘WELLNESS‘ and ‘GREEN & ECO’. DOUBLE YAY!

I’m up against some big blog names, so I’m just proud to have been nominated – but I’m hopeful that if my readers vote for me I may be in with a shot… you never know! I just have to read my blog post Facing Your Giants! How to be as confident & bold as David, in defeating your life’s Goliath. based on the bible story of ‘David & Goliath’ to remind me that the little guys like David still have a shot against the giants of the blogger world! lol 😉

  1. I thought I commented on this before because I voted, but I must have forgotten to come back to this post afterwards! Anyway, I’d wanted to wish you a huuuuge congratulations. Whether you win or not, in my opinion, doesn’t matter – to be in the running is amazing and so very well-deserved. You’re a wonderful blogger & inspire so many, so you’re doing incredibly well. Any ideas on when you’ll learn more about who’s through to final rounds etc? 😀

    1. Hi Cat, the decisions are anounced in April via a instagram live reading of the winners. thenwinners only are invited to a celebratory meal. But as a finalist i do get to go to some UK Blog Award training workshops for bloggers during 2019. I’m waiting to hear more about those, but hopefully some more accessible ones for me to go too…
      thank you again for your continued support and encouragement, i really appreciate it and your kind words are fuel for me to keep pushing through to keep blogging… 🙂
